I always used to have the highest grades in my class. I was worried when they started slipping. I asked my mom to find me a tutor. She ended up picking Upgrade Academics because of their guarantee. 

When I started college at University of Michigan, I made a commitment to myself that I would graduate with at least a 3.5. By my second year I started to realize I might need some help. I googled a few tutoring agencies, did some research, and asked some friends, hands down Upgrade was the one. Turned out I graduated with a 3.75.

I really, really, really did NOT want to work with a tutor. I’m surprised that it turned out to be fun – and – it helped me so much in my classes. Like, literally, I have more confidence than ever. I mean, my friends are always asking me for homework help.

Would I rather be playing Minecraft all day than working with my tutor? Well, yeah. But I’d rather not have to do all that homework without my tutor’s help.

My mom said I would thank her for making me have a tutor……Ummm…I’ve never actually said it to her, but I don’t mind it and I’m proud about how my grades have gone up.

It’s like this. I get coached in soccer. Why shouldn’t I get coached in school?
